How are the credits decided in the bachelors for every subject?

Question:

Answers:
each subject in the bachelor gives 20 credits.
Credits for each subject are based on classroom hours.

Classes that meet for 3 hours a week are generally awarded 3 credit hours. If the class has a lab an extra credit might be added. If the class is more than 3 hours an extra credit might be added.

As for the degree, probably decided by committee or accreditation institute.

Some American BA courses are 120 semester credit hours, others are 124, some require 130.

Each college or school may set its own standard for how many courses and credit merit a BA degree.

I had a friend at UC Berkeley in a Pre Med biology major and he did 4 solid years and lacked enough credits for a BS in Biology so he switched majors to Botany and got his A.B. in Botany on the spot.
