I have classes Monday-Thursday about 3 hours a day. I'm taking 4 classes this semester. They say to spend just as much time studying and doing homework as you spend in class but I've never found that to be the case unless I have midterms or finals coming up.
I work 20 hours a week. Usually Friday-Sunday and when I'm not in class, studying, or working I'm hanging out with friends.
I go Mon, Wed, and Friday...from 9-3.
I spend about an hour a day tops on homework but I'm in my first year so I'm not in any advanced classes (like Calcus). I do the same stuff on the weekends that I did in Highschool..hang out with my friends, shop, ride horses.
I don't do extracurriculars simply because I don't want to..but there are alot of options in college if your into that sort of thing..
College is fun..but it's SOOO easy to forget that it's college and not highschool..the teachers don't care if you come or if you fail and that freedom gets to some people. Just remember why your there.
college is fun if you are studding something you are really interested in. i have been at college for the past year and i don't have to do much study that is if you actually do your work in class. i start at 8am to 4pm Monday Tuesday and Friday. i pretty much have the weekend to my self. if your thinking about going to college i say you should go because it is really worth it. and you never know what type of people you will meet
On average, I had 2-3 classes per day. (Usually 3 were on MWF and 2 on TH). I had a lot of homework/studying during my first year and would usually spend about 1-2 hours per day. However, the classes seemed to get easier in later years and by my senior year, I hardly did any homework. Overall, my major wasn't too hard.
I joined 2 organizations and usually participated in something about once per week. I was a commuter student so I didn't really stay on campus too long after class.
