A minor in a foreign language can be very beneficial if it is a language that is used by many people in your region, or if you want to do anything in international business. So many businesses are global these days, employers want people who can work with clients or other companies around the world. It also shows an interest in world culture rather than just your own country. If it fits into your schedule and you want to do it, I say go for it! Good luck!
Absolutely, you be a wonderful asset to any comapny.
Chinese Army, if they invade, they will do so through Canada, then you can be an interpreter. France is unlikely to invade Canada (again).
I can't see how it could be a bad thing... My opinion with doublemajors and minors is that you've got to do the classes anyways, why not? I'm not sure how much French is spoken in Canada, but I would think that it would be quite a handy thing to have... What do you want to do with your degree? Would having that French be useful? That's what you should consider. Also what would you minor in if you didn't minor in French?
