It is a religion that was started by the Prophet Muhammed, peace be upon him, (around the late 7th century) after he received a visit from the archangel Gabriele. He fled his city to a cave near Mecca (which is where the Hajj comes from). It is today's second most populous religion with over a billion followers. The religion spreads a message of peace. It has five pillars: believe that there is only one God with Muhammed (p.b.u.h) as his messenger, pray, do charity work, fast during Ramadan, and participate in the Hajj at least once in your life (if possible). The consumption of any pig products and alcohol is strictly forbidden. Many Muslims also refuse to harm spiders because of how Muhammed (p.b.u.h) was helped by them on his flight from Mecca. The Muslim book of faith is the Qu'ran (or Koran) and Muslims also believe in part of the Old Testament. It is an Abrahamic Religion, similar to Judaism and Christianity. The meaning of the religion's name is "to surrender" as Muslims are seen to surrender themselves to Allah (God). Muslims see Noah, Adam, Moses, Abraham, and Jesus as prophets of God and see Muhammed as the last prophet (peace be upon them all).

I am Muslim! Yay for me! Oh yeah, and we are supposed to say "peace be upon him" or "p.b.u.h" after writing/saying Muhammed or the other profits names (again, peace be upon them all). not a thing and dont care I do not know much about Islam. I do know that Islam follows the same angry God Judaism does while Christianity follows the loving Jesus as God.
