if your state requires it...yes.you would need it even if you were a drop out depending on your age. It's a safety issue as well as a school one.
I believe so.
Yes, you do. You'd get it at whatever schol district you'd be in if you went to public school
Our state requires no such permit for anyone, but it is my understanding that some do.
Requirements differ depending on the state, some have home school exemptions.
No one on this forum can give you a definitive answer on that.
Have your parents inquire with your local job service office.
You didn't say your age, but if Public School students your age are required to have them then so are you.
Call your school district office and try to find out who to talk to about getting one.
Do you have a degree to teach? Leave the teaching to the professionals, there is a reason you have to go to school to be a teacher!
My state no longer requires a work permit for minors. I am homeschooled and just appplied for a job. I don't think be homeschooled has any affect on it. You will probably have to show some kind of ID, driver licence, birth certificate, something. You will have to look up your state laws on the internet. If you do need one all you have to do is go to a school and tell them that you need a work permit, they should help you get one.
Our state : Need a work permit and can get copy from our state labor dept. website. It should be signed by home school teacher and the employer. Our state is very home school friendly.
