It's normal to be nervous (I was when I started h.s). Just try to relax and think of it as a new chapter in your life and opportunity to make new friends. You're likely not the only one who's nervous. Also, prepare yourself for the first day of school by getting all the supplies that you need.
Good luck.
I felt the same way 2 years ago but it was nothing are you going to the same school as your friends that makes it a a cake walk. just dive in. you will be happy you did.
don't worry about it you'll be fine.
Basically you're going from being hot $hit in jr. high to cold diarrhea as a frosh in high school. Don't worry about it.
Here's a recommendation though: stop talking like a 2 year old.
you'll love it! i started 2 days ago, i'm a sophmore and i was a freshman last year so i was still in jr high in our district, its just like waking up, i mean you see so many new things, you have so much more freedom, everyone is way less clicky than jr high, and its just a lot easier to be yourself in highschool, and also the classes are way more fun because you get to pick what your interested in... youll do fine everyone does, even the nerds are happy because people leave them alone way more than jr high
You are basically closing the doors to your childhood, and opening doors to a new chapter of your life. It's going to be amazing! You will make so many memories, hopefully all good. Nothing to be nervous about, make new friends, give good first impressions, and you're not the only one who's nervous. Just walk through the halls with some confidence, and you'll be OK! Yes, there will be new things to experience, and more work ahead of you, but some people think of high school as the best time of their life! I will be a junior this year, and am already misssing my first two years! I can't believe that half of my high school career is over! =( I don't regret anything, and I know I will remember my high school years. Be ready for drama, but for some great fun too! Good luck and enjoy!
