Geometry/Algebra Help?

Question:I can't figure this out, I've tried it like 6 or 7 times.

2(5 - x) - (-2)(x - 3) = -(3x - 4)

Answers:
It simplifies by Distributive Property to 10 - 2x + 2x - 6 = -3x + 4

which in turn is 4 = -3x + 4. Add -4 to both sides and get

0 = -3x. So x = 0
2(5 - x) - (-2)(x - 3) = -(3x - 4)

10-2x+2x+3= -3x+4
13 = -3x + 4
13-4= -3x +4 - 4
9 = -3x

-3 = x
10-2x-(-2x)+6=-3x+4
10-2x+2x+6=-3x+4
10+6=-3x+4
16=-3x+4
12=-3x
4=x
2(5-x) - (-2)(x-3) = -(3x-4)
10 - 2x - (-2x + 6) = -3x + 12
10 - 2x + 2x - 6 = -3x + 4
4 = -3x + 4
0 = -3x
x = 0
okay u have to distribute, so start from left to right: 2(5-x) turns into 10-2x because u multiply the 2 to both the numbers inside, then u go to -(-2)(x-3), infront of the (-2) there is a imaginary -1 so u times that by the -2 and get 2, then u have 10-2x+2(x-3)so u distribute the next part and get 2x -6, so on that side u have 10-2x+2x-6, so now u put that together and get 4 because the 2x's cancel, then on the other side u also have an imaginary -1 so u distribute that side and get -3x+4 so u have 4=-3x+4 so u subtract the 4 and get 0=-3x then divide the 0 by -3 and u would get 0/-3=x, now im not totally sure thats right but i think with that answer, it would turn it into a 0! so ur final answer would be x=0
remember the order of operations, pemdas. parenthesis, exponents, multi/divi, add/subtraction.
2(5 - x) - (-2)(x - 3) = -(3x - 4)
10-2x - (-2x+6)= -(3x - 4)
10-2x + 2x -6 = -3x + 4
4 = -3x + 4
0= -3x
i would say that there is no real answer
2(5 - x) - (-2)(x - 3) = -(3x - 4)

1) distribute everything that is is the parenthese

10 - 2x + 2x + 6 = -3x + 4 (the negatives become positives because two negatives equal a positive

2)Start simplifing the problem by puttin like terms together

16 = -3x + 4

3) Get the x's on one side and the other numbers on the other
subtract the 4 from the right side and subtract it from the left

12 = -3x

4) Divide each side by -3

12/-3 = x

5) Simplify that and you have your answer

x = -4
distributive multiplication and order of operations

10 -2x - (-2x+6) = -3x+4 ---- the subtration applies to both the (-2) and the 6 making them (+2x) and -6. The 2x cancel eachother out leaving just 10 and -6.
10 - 6 = -3x + 4
4 = -3x +4 -------- subtract 4 from both sides
0 = -3x ------- divide both sides by -3
therefore x = 0 (since 0/ -3 is 0)

you have to be careful to make sure that you distribute completely with each variable and sign.
