What's the difference between a cover page and a title page?

I'm writing a paper we're supposed to own a cover page but not a title page and I have no perception what the difference is.

Answers:    The cover page is usually a picture and title and a hard surface (Like the cover of a hardcover book), whereas the title page only has the title, and the authors entitle (the page right after the hard cover book)
