i think it's fine, as long as it sounds ok! like, does it prevent the fluidity of the entire paragraph? does it sound like it doesn't belong there? if it sounds fine, i'll think u'll be okay! i've never heard anything where u couldn't use a quote, but maybe u could ask ur teacher/professor? also u should open with your own words, if u haven't already! then add the quote!

Make your opening statement, then use the most powerful part of the quote next, and then finishing out your opening gambit.
In the next paragraph, you can work the entire length of the quote in to your essay.
