How do I find the function of a polynomial when given the x intercepts?

Question:I have the graph (not very detailed, it just specifies the x intercepts), but I need to find the function.

Answers:
The x-intercepts are the "roots" or solutions, if the function is set to 0. So, assuming the x-intercepts are, for instance, a and b, you would have

(x-a)(x-b) = f(x)

multiply out and you've got the function.

Now I see your additional details -- same info from me -- you'd just have 4 factors to multiply out.
