Question:Alrighty I need help with math..

"You and 5 friends go to the movies. Tickets cost $6.00 per person, and each person buys a bag of popcirn for $2.00"

1) Write a numerical expression that gives the total cost of the movies and popcorn for you and your friends.

Answers:
T= (F x t) + $2

T is the total
F is the Friends
t is the tickets

P(popcorn) = 2
F= number of friends = 5
M= total cost of movies

M = (F • P) + (F • T)
M = (5 • 2) + (5 • 6)
M = (10) + (30)
M= $40
