Is the following trinomial a perfect square? Explain why/why not?

Question:x^2 + 18x – 81

A perfect square requires that it factors out to two equal parts, and the third coefficient must be positive. Since the third coefficient is -81, there must be an imaginary component, so it can't be a perfect square.
