Two math problem! Help!?

I've been trying to amount these out, and I still can't seem to win the right answer~ Please help!


1. A rectangle have an area of 176 cm^2 and a limits of 54 cm. What are its dimensions (length and width)?

2. Use the method of substitution to solve the system
x^2 + y^2 = 14
x + y = 1
If there is more than one point, write the points separated by a comma (i.e.: (1,2),(3,4)).


Answers:    the answer to the first one is 11, 16.
1.) divide 54 by 2, resulting within 27.
2.) 11x 16 equals 176.
