I need help with math?

Question:how do u change normal numbers to percents, then those percents to dergrees?

Answers:
Alright to find percent you take the part divided by the whole and multiply that decimal by 100. For example: In a class of 10, there are 4 boys. The percentage of boys would be (4/10) x 100 = 40. So 40% of the class are boys.

To find the degrees (I am assuming you mean in a cirlce, like for a pie graph), you go back to the percentage equation but leave it in decimal form so you find that 4/10 is .4; .4 of the class are boys. Now take that decimal and multiply it by the total amount of degrees in a circle (360). .4 x 360 = 144. So in your pie graph you would use 144 degrees to represent boys, and the remaining amount for girls.

I hope this helps. Good luck
To change a number to a percent just add a percent sign??? um ya.. but if you want a percent in degrees just divide by 100
example 50% / 100 = .50
You'll need to provide more info; an example perhaps?
to change normal numbers to percents you put that number or fraction like 37/45 then you times it by 100
then for degrees, you might have to times that number by 3.6??
i'm not sure abuot the degrees one
To change normal numbers to percentage:
Example: 75 out of 150
75 / 150 x 100% = 1 / 2 x 100% = 50%

May I know which degrees ar you referring to, please?
For triangles, rectangles, squares or circle, you have to know the total degrees in each type.

Triangles have 180 degrees in total, while squares, rectangles & circles have 360 degrees.

So, 50% of the degrees in a triangle is equal to:
= 50 / 100 x 180 degrees
= 1 / 2 x 180 degrees
= 90 degrees

Will it help you...?
