You might be inclined to judge them but they have come for help so that's what they really need.

Id just say ignore them and dont acknowledge them. and for (2.) id have to say just be nice to them i mean i have a friend who's a Jew and he gets made fun of cause of some stupid shows the people watch and copy off of it which i think is pretty stupid. So id like tell someone who's an adult or someone, Or id try to get the christian in your case that just dont look at them dont acknowledge them dont even think about what they say cause deep down they know there bad people doing something to hurt someones feelings so thats what i would of done.
