Fomulae in MS-Excel..?

Question:What is the formula for calculating %age in MS Excel

Answers:
Simple example
Say Numerator = A1 =25
Denominator=A2=100
Then you get the percentage by dividing A1 by A2
i.e. =A1/A2 then answer will be 0.25

You can present it in different ways
1. multiply it by 100 if your column name is percentage/ratio
=(A1/A2)*100 =25

2. Put the percentage mark by clicking on the % sign on the toolbar
then it should be =25%
the formula is =(cellno/cell no)*100
numerator will be the number that u have out of the total number.denominator is the total number...
Simply put your number of fraction and click on the percentage synbol %. Alternatively, go to format>>cell>>percentage and then that cell will automatically give you percentage for any number( like key in 2/3 and you get 67%.
