The area of a circle is 25in^2?

Question:I need to find the radius of the circle.

I've tried this problem a few times, but I can never seem to get it right.

Can you show me step by step how to work it out?

Thank you.

Answers:
The area of a circle is pi * r^2

so to find the radius us this formula:
pi*r^2=25
r^2= 25/pi
r= sqrt( 25/pi)
r=2.820947918

The radius is about 2.82 in
The area of a circle is pi times r squared. So. If the area is 25 in squared, can you get from there what r is?
A = PI * r^2
25 = 3.14r^2
divide 3.14 to other side
7.96 = r^2
take square root
r = 2.82 in
