Before you deside to order one, go and get an LL Bean magazine and leave it around in your daughter's room. Trust me, when I see a magazine, I pick it up immediately if it has to do with clothing. In a few minutes, after your daughter has left the room, see if shee circled anything or ripped any pages out. If that doesn't work, just pick one that goes with her personality. Also, LL Bean backpacks are hard to break into. If you just buy a jansport, you can either get it embroidered with her name on it, or you can go to a craft store like Michaels and get things and letters in the iron on section and iron them on. Make sure your daughter wants something with her name on it first though. SHe could also put something like "I LUV PUPPIES" on it. I know a kid who got "pie" written on it.

Don't mean to scare you ----but I wouldn't put my child's name on the outside of their backpack. There are weirdo's out there and NOW you have told them your child's name.You don't need to give CREEP'S any information . Personalize with a dog or cat picture or something.not their name.
