I know I need to focus on getting high grades in sciences (especially biology and whatnot), but what other classes should I be taking? Can public speaking, foreign language, and writing classes be overlooked?
Also, what standardized tests are the most import for me to score high in?
Does being involved in extracurricular activities matter as much as people say they do on college applications?
Is there anything I can do to get a head start on my learning? Specifically, are there books I can read or places I can look to see what certain colleges require of their students?
What type of GPA should I be shooting for?

Very very competitive field. At 15 you will have many opportunities to increase your chances. Talk to your family doctor for advice. Talk with guidance counselors. Two things are important to begin with ability and motivation. Looks like you have motivation, you will be finding out if you have the ability.
Foreign language would be a benefit.
There is a shortage of Primary Care Physicians in this country. People are living longer which increases the demand for MD's
GPA should be is high as you can get it. AP and honor courses are necessary. Good luck
