Hmm.. You could do one with the main protaganist as a magical creature(mermaid, angel, vampire ect), who fights evil (demons, sea monsters ect...) but at the same time has to focus on school. And she could like a guy, or two guys could be chasing her and she needs to choose one (or something along those lines)
This is just a basic idea, you can morph it and make it into those catagories you listed, and well it's easy to make that kinda manga funny :P
Well, try and make a good japanesy type of name for it first. Then make sure at the start of it it tells you about the main characters, in the middle maybe you could have some sort of bad thing or surprise happen and at the end make it have a good ending and say to be continued or something and then start all over again with another book.
