try the rosetta stone learning system. i used it to learn spanish and i was speaking it fluently in just a few months. i ordered it off of an infomercial but im sure u can google it and find thier site online. they offer packages featuring several different languages including russian.
well you gotta learn the russian alphabet first, and they arent the regular english characters either. i tried, but it took too long learning the alphabet
Probably take a course at a community college, or study abroad in Russia.
Moscow State University (in Moscow, Russia) offers an excellent course for international students. I believe it lasts two months. You have a choice rent an apartment in the city or live on the campus. Campus is less money (was $90 per week or so) and you can mingle with others and exercise your knowledge.
