What's the difference between Honors and AP classes?

Question:

Answers:
For almost all AP and Honors classes I know of you get more points for your GPA if you do really well in them. But besides that, the difference is that for an AP class the whole point of the class is to get you to pass the AP Exam for that particular subject at the end of the year. While for an honors class you don't have to take the AP Exam, and it's not usually as hard as the AP classes. Also, if you pass the AP Exam, you will get college credit for that subject if you get a certain grade (different colleges accept different grades).
Both classes are designed to boost your GPA, but AP classes have another benefit. They give you college credit. But that also means AP classes are harder than honors classes. Odds are if you take AP classes, you will be required to do alot of writing and come in for classes when your peers get to sleep in.
