I went to an all-girls school for all four years of high school and didn't mind it at all. At the time it was a bit annoying (I mean, I was a teenager and extremely into boys), but looking back on it I am happy that there were no boys there. I felt freer to express my opinions and emotions in classrooms than I did in grade school. By college I was more confident in myself and didn't care if boys found my intelligence threatening. I spoke my mind and was respected for it.
