She ended up getting lots of them. No it's not to late to look for other scholarships. After fafsa approved us. We started to get a lot of mail for other scholarships. Good luck
Go to junior or state college first and get excellent grades on the cheap. Seek to excel at something in sports, to also gain their attention. Then re-apply. Two years JC, three years University.
Figure out your goal, show you are working on it, make them want to be a part of it in your appliction. Quality of your education is mainly what you put into it.
