Does school have more damaging influences than movies?

Question:Disney just said they weren't allowing smoking in any more Disney movies because it influences children. In Pirates of the Carribbean, Davy Jones smoked a pipe and the movie was PG 13. So how does a 2 hour movie influence kids more than school? What I mean is I was 14 when I read Romeo and Juliet in school, we spent weeks reading and discussing it, and it's about 2 teenagers who kill each other because they can't be together. And even though you have teenagers reading and talking about it for weeks it doesn't make them think, "well if I can't be with my boyfriend, then I will kill myself" or something like that? Sure Romeo and Juliet isn't about suicide, but then Disney movies aren't about smoking. So the question is how does a 2 hour movie affect a 14 year old than several weeks reading and discussing a teenage couple that killed themselves because they couldn't be together?

Answers:
yeah there's a point
YES
Umm well, they both have their downsides, but movies influence people more than school, in the movies u see a wide variety of people smoking, killing, drugs etc. for fun, and you don't see that in school,or read in school books, but if you are smart enough you would know not to get involved in those stuff.
