Yes if you are referring to finding interesting things in dumpsters. I decorated my first apartment with dumpster finds. I found a wooden checkerboard grid which I varnished and placed shiny material under for a wall hanging. I also found hanging lamps with dented shades, I put the dents to the wall and everyone thought I had spent a fortune on decorating. I have also found nick knacks. My favorite is a copy of Rodan's The Kiss statue.Its about 15 inches tall and everyone comments on it. Be careful to always have a safe way in and more important out. Be more carefull in high crime areas as you never know what you will find. Also find a buddy diver and look out for each other. Apartment complex trash bins have great finds. Source(s):

Some of the best things in my house were in the dumpster. Dont be afraid to pick up things that look a little broken if they are useful or look like they can be fixed. Sometimes all it takes is a little time and imagination. If it turns out to be a dud- just return it to the dumpster!:)
