What is College Prep English exactly?

Question:I may sound stupid for asking this but what is college prep english exactly?? If you're a freshman in high school is it even possible to be taking this class? Is is like Honors English, or is it at a lower or higher level? Again, please excuse my stupidity.

Answers:
English (CP) is a college preperation course, if you want to go to college that what you take. OF course apparently more is expected of you. So basically, you just take it for your college preperation degree

I am taking this year

Pre Algebra (CP)
World Studies (CP)
Programming 1
Religious Studies (CP)
Health(needed to get your diploma so might as well get it over with freshman year lol)
English 1 (CP)
Integrated Science (CP)


Notice almost all of these are college prep classes? They expect more of you. Enjoy your freshman year!
