Question:Ok so i just went to Washington D.C today and i was learning some stuff and they were talking about the NOTCH like a "V" shabed cut across the hole on the dog tags... they said that you would stick the "V" notch in between your teeth and hit as hard as u can on it and it would kill you. Before you got captured? is this true if so can u send me a link or explain how in more detail??

This actually is not true. I am not sure about other times but in WWII they would keep one tag for identification purposes and take the other and shove in between your teeth after you died.
Nope - 10 yrs in the USMC and multiple combat operations this one is new to me.
