- Be polite to people you don't know. You'll make a lot of new friends.
- Be polite to your new teachers because they'll be really good to you in class, and that just makes the rest of the year a lot smoother because they'll trust you.
- Keep up on your schoolwork! You'll eventually figure out as you go through High School that doing good in school is a VERY important thing! So, better do now because by the time college hunting comes around, you'll be regretting it.
- As bad as it sounds, for you, I wouldn't even think about going out with any boys in 11th and 12th grade. Because, honestly, they really don't care for freshmen girls... Plus, there leaving soon, and you don't want a relasionship that will be done very fast. I knew a girl who was a freshmen previous school year, and she started seeing a Senior guy the last couple of months before school ended, and now they don't even talk because he is going to college far away.
- Don't pick fights with girls. Because when I see freshmen girls fighting about boys, I just want to smack them because it just makes them look patheic. And any other stupid argument to put it at that...
- Don't worry about boys at your age. Seriously, relationships in 9th grade are over soo fast. At your junior year you can be more interested.
- Don't forget your old friends from Middle School.
- Don't dress really skanky. The older grades look down on that soooooo much.
- TRY TO HAVE FUN! Freshmen year is the easiest, and it's a good year to get a feel for High School.
