Prison cells size?

Question:whats the legal requirement or standard prison cell size, reason I am asking I am offshore at moment and ten men have to share 5 metre x 5 metres x 2 metres high room includes cupboard space. For those that still work in antiquated measurement systems thats 16 feet by 16 feet x 6 1/2 feet. Just wondered whether it was comparable or even less than requirements.

Answers:
There is not a standard prison cell as such - but the overall dimensions are approx - in old money - 10 x 8 x 8 - some of these are 2 residents with a bunk style bed.
