Firedog / Geek Squad A+ certified but no HS or GED what are my chances?

Question:I'm 23 with A+ certification and about to take NET+ after studying for 3 months. I have no HS or GED, what are my chances for employment? Is a diploma or GED strictly required for employment? or do they ask to see/check if you have an HS or GED? Ive been working at Wal-Mart in electronics for 5 years now and have no employment history in PC repair although I have done manny PC jobs for friends and family..

Bonus question: Whats the average hourly salary i can expect in florida @ GS or FD?

Answers:
If you can pass the A+ and Net+ certifications just go down and get your GED. There is only a very small filing fee and it only takes a couple of hours of your time.
Not having a GED or HS Diploma looks very bad on a resume. Especially if you are going into the IT field.
