very little indeed, most students go straight into level 2 as level 1 is very basic(washing/blow drying etc) no real salon duties that anyone of the street couldn't do.
i have done level 2 myself and it will get you well on our way, with the choice of going back to do level 3 which is quite abit more advanced in the way of put ups and new styles of cutting and colouring.
