That alone isn't enough to decide on a career. There's problem solving in virtually every job, some more than others of course. Solving problems is a key aspect of engineering, businesses, medical research, and even the construction industry. Its hard to find a career that wont involve problem solving to some extent.
If you were thinking more along the lines where your job is to solve important problems by figuring out resolutions to complicated situations, then anything with engineering would suit you just fine. Engineering is all about trial and error and see what works and what doesn't ultimately to bring out a greater outcome. NASA for example has a room of geeks that sit around and think of solutions for space craft or how they shall find ETs. But all those careers require a lot of math, and if you think you're good enough at math to do it, you aren't.
I could go on all day about countless other jobs that require great problem solvers. But all you have to do to find the answer is look around.
