You might be okay, in the long run, but you will be playing with a handicap. Your application might be discarded right out for not meeting education requirements. Should that requirement be waived, or if it's not a deal-ender, you are still going to have to demonstrate job knowledge and relevant work experience at a level above anyone with a degree to compete for those jobs/salaries/opportunities. It's perhaps a little unfair, but you will have to perform above the level of a person with a degree to prove you are that person's equal.
In short, it's probably worth the time, energy and money to get a degree of some sort to maximize your potential in the job market.
Well college degrees, will always be ahead of diplomas. And now more and more people are getting masters degrees, and phd's, etc. So im gonna say unless you are freakishly smart, its gonna be tough.
