What is the diference between a 5A school and a 4A high school in texas...and which is better?

Answers:
4A and 5A are used to classify the schools by population. For example Permain high school in Odessa Texas is a 5A school because of it's size. there really isn't much of a difference other wise. From what I understand. They have to classify the schools somehow so that they can pair them up with other schools to compete with in sporting activities etc. It would not be fair to pair up a 5A school against a 2A school with less students in a football game ... because the 5A school has more students to pick from for their team than a 2A school does.
5A
I believe the populations in and around surrounding the schools determine the 5A and 4A. Larger schools will fall into the class 5A.
