Both are 4 year Bachelor's degree's. If you are in a more scientific field the degree is a BS if you are in a less scientific field it is a BA. For example, my teaching degree is a BA, but my brothers engineerin degree is a BS.
Nothing, one has an emphasis in Science "related" courses and the other "doesnt". Depends on what you consider science, I have a B.A. and have taken more Science classes than all my buddies who got a B.S. and that the god honest truth, it is usually dependent on the major, whether it is considered an Art discipline or a Science.
