Do you have to reapply to a college if...?

Question:You already applied and were accepted but you never registered your classes for that semster you applied for. I had applied for the fall semester at my local community college but failed in getting all my finacial aid forms done on time. So I never did register. Would I have to reapply for the next semester?

Answers:
No, with community colleges, you are likely in the system once you apply. If they've already sent you the acceptance letter, then you should be ok to register for classes within a year or so.

Some community colleges have rules regarding this though, and they may require a new application, but that's rare.

I applied to a community college, a few months ago, for the summer session and I never enrolled in the classes. I got a call from them letting me know (as they do with the "real" students) that fall enrollment is now open.go figure.

:)
