Best UC or CSU for an English major?

Question:Which UC or CSU out of these is best for an English major, minor in a Foreign Language? I applied to: UCLA (but I don't think I'll get in), UCSB, UCSC, UC Davis, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
I have gotten into Cal Poly SLO and UCSB so far. Also, I also want to study abroad my junior year. I don't think I'm going to get into UCLA.. Advice from someone who's been in the UC or CSU system would be much appreciated.

With an English major, I imagine you're looking to obtain a PhD in order for it to make a decent salary which rules out Cal Poly...

Cal Poly is primarily known as an engineering college where the highest degree is a Master's.

In the UC's you can work towards a PhD... UC Santa Cruz is known as a liberal arts college, but I recommend you research the faculty and your own goals to see which college will fit your goals the best.
