Question:Its result time next week and i think that i am completely doomed! I'm someone who finds it hard to actually study, there are so many things that seem more fun, i get easily distracted! I thought the actual GCSE's went fine but im a person who will say that and then totally muck up, so im really very worried! Before the end of last term i was told that i needed to have 5 B's to stay in the school, this is ofcourse my school trying to be top in the league tables bla bla bla..., i have already got 1 B and that was for RS which i nearly aced, so at least thats under my belt, but how can i possibly get the rest? ahhh im screwed! Ofcourse teachers say that you will be fine as you are pretty consistant during term time...what do they know? These GCSE's are so irrelevent and are unwanted stress...theyre AWFUL! How did u find ur GCSE's? and whats the chance of failing:S?

I know what you mean, I need five B's also to get into my new school, and I've also already got my ICT grade B.
You're not screwed at all! You'll be perfectly fine! You must go to a good school if theyre only letting you in with five B's, five C's is the usual requirement, so I'm sure you'll be fine. Just keep calm about it, because there always things you can do if you have messed up.
i feel exactly the same so ive thought about this a lot! im crapping myself (!!) but in the end i decided that...
if i didnt get good enough to go back to school theres always other options
1) other schools accept late comers, it might not be as good as your school but its better than nothing right?
and 2) you can always get a full time job for a year or 2 and then go to college and re-do your GCSE's, you never have to tell anyone that you did them later than everyone else
