A pen, pencil or even a typewriter are the obvious choices ! ! !
well you have to get in touch with a publisher and tell them your ideas they will then tell you to write your storys on the compute useing any type of software (microsoft word) then keep them informed and they will want to read it and if they like it they will send someone round your house to go over it, thats all you have to do.

write down brief ideas for storyline, describe characters. Basically plan out everything you want and then fill in with interesting features. Always use a word processor as you can easily amend your story. It helps to have characters based on people you know. If you think the story is interesting it is likely that your audience will too. Good luck.
Begin with organizing the setting and the atmosphere. Then you should organize the plot. Are you writing short stories? If so, get started from wherever you like. Short story is a free genre. You dont need to be constructive. Have your own style ;)
First do a 'brainstorm'. in the middle of a piece of paper draw a cloud and write in the middle 'characters'. Then around the cloud write names and who they are, their personality etc.
The next cloud you could do 'beginning', next 'middle' and then next 'end'. As you begin to write the book, base it on this template. Take regular breaks throughout writing it so you don't get frustrated and stop.
Good Luck! :-D
1. Brush up on your grammatical and spelling - buy an English book etc and maybe do a course if you have the money. It's no good having great stories if you can't write.

2. Write all the time. Come up with ideas. Write about descriptions of a journey or about your day or your feelings. Just write, write, write.

3. When writing a story at first don't plan too much. Just go with the flow. Let your characters take control and have free will if you like. Relax and just let it flow out.

4. Get some basic storytelling techniques to start you off. There are many great books out there on how to write stories and novels. You need to learn about plot, structure, climax building, twists, characterisation, building your own style etc etc.

5. Read, read, read. The more you read the better your own writing will become.
Research your subject, have a story and a plan of how you want it to go. Make sure that you put time aside to write, and if you do it on computer make sure you back up all you've written in case of a disaster, so you don't lose what you have written. You will then have to try to get your manuscripts to a publisher and hope that they publish your story. That is the difficult part. Good luck!
