you'll be just fine. You might be a little nervous the first day but thats completely normal. Don'y get petrified if you get lost, or cant open your locker.ect. Everyones going through the same thing. Focus on your grades and less of the social scene. Making friends is great but if your more concerned with that then grades, thats probably not going to work. Be yourself and remember that before long you'll be in college or wherever. You only get one chance to succeed in highschool. What you do in h/s will most likely detirmine your college and future. As for culture...it depends on where you came from before highschool. Were you homeschooled, in private school, publich school, et cetera? Then there's the question of what kind of highschool you're going into. Is it big, small, in the country or the city? All of these things will affect your highschool experience.
There are some general staples of highschool in general though I suppose. Such as cliques, embarrassing experiences, love, heartbreak, foolishness, and growth as a person. Expect to go in as the you you are now, and come out as a whole new you, and don't resist it.
