If you're in "trigonometry/math analysis" in your junior year of high school...?

Question:...Are you in advanced/honors math?

Answers:
Most schools have a separate program from their main-stream math and their advanced-placement or honors programs. So, unless you are specifically enrolled in those programs - even though you're in an advanced class in the mainstream curriculum, you're still not in the honors or AP program.

Check with your school's academic advisers to be sure.
No. I was in trig my sophomore year and I was in calc AP by my junior year. Sorry to steal your thunder.
I'd say advanced -- you have a shot at getting calculus in, which will help you with college math.

However, "honors" courses are special high school courses that give you a .5 boost to the GPA rating for that class (an A = 4.5 grade points instead of 4.0). You have to check with your school to see what courses are considered 'honors' or 'regular' courses.

Also, after trigonometry, you might be able to sign up for AP Calculus -- AP courses give you a 1.0 boost to GPA and are great for improving your class ranking (and also getting scholarships / college admissions).
it's different in every school. in my school, that's the most advanced math class for juniors.
sometimes, there'll be a new student at my school who has already taken a class that everyone else in their grade is taking that year, but they skipped a class that everyone else had taken a year or two before, so a junior or senior could end up taking a freshman class. sometimes, a freshman can even be in a senior class, if they had already taken all of the required classes at their previous school.
well i took trig my freshman year in high school and it was honors.
They also had a non honors version but the honors version was easy.
not neccessarily. it all depends on the school curriculum and what you have taken, I was in Algebra 2 in my junior year because I had taken my math courses out of schedule. It all depends, and sometimes if it is an honors classes then it will say, in the column that says flag, H, or the title would be trigonometry honors. As I said it all depends. I hope this helps.
