There are good and bad things about every year of high school. I loved my freshman year, and I am not popular or in many clubs.
Freshman year you are the little guys and you look up to all of the older kids. you love being around them and they are usually the topic of all of your conversations. The downside however is that some upperclassmen can be mean and you will feel like the lowest on the totem poll at pep rallies and in sports! :( The first few days you may hate it, especially if you dont like change. I remember my first day at high school i got a huge HUGE headache in class and the day went by so slow and i hated it and i went home and never wanted to go back, but then in a few days, once everything goes from quiet first days to normal school year days, i loved it!
Sophomore year is by far the worst year of high school because in your eyes you are older and looking to rule the school but in the eyes of others you are still a lame little kid
Junior year is pretty good (not as new and exciting as freshman year) you have prom and college on the brain. you know the school inside and out and you hate the little ones.
and i am a senior and school hasnt started yet so i cant tell you about that
but dont worry about freshman year, most teachers like the freshman the best because they cause the least amount of trouble. just keep distance from the upperclassmen so they dont get any reasons to be nasty to you guys. Dont take it for granted, it goes by way too fast. try new things and join any clubs that you have even the slightest interest in, so you dont regret anything. if i could i would go back to my freshman year in a second!
Freshman year was scary and exciting. All the horror stories we heard before actually getting there were NOT true. Take advantage of every opportunity because before you know it, you'll be graduating and wondering where the Hell it all went!

Oh no, freshman year isn't bad. After a month or two, you feel like you've been in high school forever. Really, the only reason why people tend to say it was the worst year is because their social lives were that great. That's because as you get older, your social life becomes more exciting! But freshman year is fun; don't worry.
Im going to be a freshman this year too. I guess I'm most nervous about lunch, because all of the grades are mixed instead of all just 8th graders. And, new school, so I don't want to get lost, and uhmm, hello, freshman friday!! All the seniors gang up on the freshman.
