One big binder probably wouldn't work for all her subjects, since there's SOOO much material recieved. Waiting until the first day would be best, because at my High School you get supply lists the first day.
Some teachers are picky about combining subjects into one binder, so be careful. Usually, though, putting maybe 2 or 3 subjects in one should be alright, but I'd make sure you have those classes close in time to each other during the day, so you're not lugging around a ton of binders.
I personally like to have a binder for every subject, because I like being organized, but that doesn't work for everyone. She should try out different things and find out what works.
1 binder would be fine for the first couple of days of school. teachers will usually tell the students what specific supplies to get for their class the first day of school.
Most teachers will tell her what she needs for each class. The first day i usually would take a folder and a notebook. I would wait to do the all subjects in one binder until after the teachers tell her what they want and see how heavy the course load is.
Hmm. Maybe. But if she's in advanced classes then the teachers might expect you to be ready. I'm also going to be a freshman and I have a book discussion, essay, and test all in the first week.
