I took the SAT for the Duke National Talent Search.but that was before they changed it.I think the SAT is still the safer bet, because it does NOT have the science portion that the ACT has.It also depends on the tesing dates and locations.
I dont know what they are because i live in australia, good luck, maybe we will see you on tv sometime soon
ACT do it ! It is right!!!!
Ummm I'd say the SAT.that probably won't help at all but I hope it does! Good Luck!
If your in 7th grade, then stop worrying about college right now. Go out and have fun; grow up first.
well it depends on the person.. for some people SAT is better for others it's ACT..
i scored higher in the ACT than the SAT... so it really depends on which tests you're better at, but the SAT is more popular than the ACT
I would take the SAT. Its more popular where you are than the ACT. The SAT's are more popular on the coasts while the ACT's are more popular in the Middle of the country.

The link below is a nice little map.
Oh I did that in 7th grade too. I took the SAT because I think it's easier and where I live people tend consider the SAT more important than the ACT. I'm in 12th grade now and last year I took both tests and found the ACT to be harder because it had a science section (which the SAT doesn't have) and the math was harder. It went from elementary math up to calculus while the SAT concentrates on algebra and geometry. It depends where your talents lie, whether your more a math/science person or more an English person, but I'd suggest you do the SAT. Good luck.
First of all, don't panic - this program is designed to help you.

Check out the answer from the Duke website.
"The Duke University Talent Identification Program does not recommend one test over the other. Both tests are acceptable for purposes of the Talent Search. Some considerations for parents may be testing dates and the location of test centers."

The best answer is always to talk it over with your parents, teachers, or guidance counselors, or call the Duke program coordinator if you have specific questions.
