Just take a couple of honors classes during your Freshman year, since you said you haven't taken any honors classes before. Relax it's your first year of high school, you don't want to overwhelm yourself. I think 10-12 really counts the most. Just take AP European History, they normally offer it in 9th grade, Advanced English and Advanced Geometry. If you succeed this year, then populate your schedule with as much as AP classes you want, as long as you can handle them. Not only the AFA wants great academics, they also want well-rounded people, who not only succeed in school but other areas as well. Good luck.
I can't imagine why your school hasn't already set you up with
AP or Honors classes given your grades in Middle School!
Go for it, you can always use the extra challenge!
sounds like you need more of a challenge anyway. honors classes will look better no matter what you decide to do... whether it be the air force or college. go for it
i think that you will do good depending on ur teacher i am a junior with all honors classes but i hate chemistry and algebra two honors because my teachers do not teach. but my history and english classes are easy! u can get a parent over ride. or a recomendation from ur teacher. go talk to ur counsulor. down here if u get honor classes u get one extra point per every honor class u have so if u have four that would be four more points added to ur gpa and for ap u get two points!!
