micro electronics sounds fun and interseting
Don't you have an academic advisor that can help you pick something?
I'd go for the MBA personally. But do it in england or US if u can and u'll find to easier 2 get a job.
dude you need to go to junior college and do some drugs. try marijuana, it is the "gateway drug" and it can get you into some other cool things. shrooms, coke, and don't forget acid. You should also try getting laid. Go to a bar and start hitting on women. talk on your cell phone alot, girls love it. As the night wheres on the women will get more and more drunk and eventually someone will have sex with you. don't forget to use protection. A 9mm should do, If not I have a 12 gauge you can borrow.
Only you can decide your future! You are going to let Y! Answers pick for you? Whatever interests you the most, or you have the most fun doing is what you need to pick.
For about the next forty years or so the big thing is going to be robotics. If you get into this field and become really good at it, not only will you make big bucks but you could possibly be in on the ground floor and become well-known for being the guy who made robotics a real name instead of like a lot of the concepts that are out there right now. If it was me and I liked electronics as well as engineering like you seem to do, I would definitely go for it. Hope everything you try turns out great.
Dear Shravanraghuna,
If you are looking for settling abroad then....
1. Doing M.Tech in Electronics from IIT's shall be immensely helpful followed by P.Hd. If you are talented you shall be placed at America's and Europe's top MNC's.
M.Tech Can be done at any subject you mentioned in your question.
For this qualiflying GATE is required. (Even B.Sc students can do M.Tech)
2. Go for MBA at IIM's or at ISB Hyderabad. If you do excellently at this MBA schools you shall be definitely placed abroad and that too at a very heavy salary.
So dear Shravanraghuna, hope you do well and achieve you coveted success.
Do inform me about your good result. Best of luck
If you're lucky enough to get into IIT and such, do whatever..trust me...that can take you pretty much anywhere you want.
And if, like the rest of us, you're not, I would highly advise you to pursue whatever you want outside of India (especially U.S), if you want a job outside of India. As far as advising you on which field to choose; MBA-harsh trust, pretty much everyone ends up doing it..in the years to come, you'll end being the 'average' person you're age (that is, hard working+ high salary+in India..if you do it in India).
I personally think the M.Sc is the best out of that list you have given. And again, doing it from the average Indian college won't be a very smart option if you want to go abroad. You might find higher education very expensive at first, but its you're most sure-fire seat abroad.
Hope this helps!..Good luck.
I hope by now you have seen all the nut heads answers. You are aqualified man,so dont get advise from ignorant people.
Your first preference should be M.Sc (electronics) as the degree level is not enough to face competition these days.
MBA can be done privately or through evening colleges even if you are employed.
Regarding going abroad ,don't think it is a good idea, because in India you have got all chances and life there is very pleasent.Believe me ,I have lived in USA and USSR.Even if you go there do only some high technical course and not silly software courses which are better and cheaper in India. If you are young and have financial resources study as much as you can now, latter may be too late.
