What do you call those people who work in an ambulance?

Question:I'm making a quiz and gonna post it but I really need to know what the people who work on emergencies and are in ambulances are called.Help?

Answers:
There are basically two titles they have. There are Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Paramedics. Both are highly trained and certified. They must retest every two years to maintain certification and this allows new techniques and treatments to be taught. They must also complete x number of hours each years of continuing education. Some places, but not very many, also have people that are drivers (not EMTs or Medics) but they must also be certified in CPR and Emergency Vehicle Operations (EVOC).
Paramedics
That would be a Paramedic.
they're called EMT's or paramedics. EMT stands for emergency medical technicians.
ambos (the emergency term for it)
While I think paramedic or EMT is the technical answer--the emotional answer is "angels".that's based on my personal encounter with them!
