Which would u choose to go to, school or work?

Question:

Answers:
I chose work when I graduated High School -- because my family was poor and I just "accepted" that I had no other choice. And though I've been reasonably successful in 2 fields, banking and as a professional photographer, I really regret not having gone to college.

I feel that there was an entire "phase" of life that I missed out on by not going to college.

I guess my biggest regret is to look back now and realize that I would have been a good candidate for scholastic scholarships, also expansive, extensive grants. I didn't even know to ask about them, and we did not have effective school "counselors" to even care to advise students on such subjects.

Especially since I graduated high (3rd) in my class, yes, I regret not choosing college instead of work.

If you're at that point, and want to go to college, DON'T give up. Plug in to every source you can find -- you CAN do it. Go beyond your school counselor -- contact the colleges in which you are interested, follow up on leads you can get online.
It may not be easy, but it is worth the benefits of the end.
