As a former teacher, take this advice, you will get caught. No one slept long in my class. My favorite method of waking a sleeping student was to load an eraser with chalk and to pop them on the head with it.

i usually have my binders in front of me and textbooks stacked... well i have never gotten caught hope it works for you. I'm a light sleeper so i get waken up usually. If your a heavy sleeper you probally shouldn't try to sleep in class....
Your best bet would be to sit in the back...then put your head in your hands and listen for five min. in this position, then slowly fall asleep... this will get you about a good 5 min. pending on the teacher. Good Luck!

You can't. As a teacher, I can tell you that I see EVERYTHING. However, I don't always call kids out on it. I just take it into consideration if there's a borderline grade--a student who is paying attention and taking charge of his/her education will get that bump to the A-, whereas the one who is sleeping or doesn't care about class will get the B+. Now, that doesn't mean I don't call out kids. I've actually only had 1 student fall asleep on me and I called a pop quiz where I had previously told all of the other students the answer and not the one sleeping and I can honestly tell you that he never did it again!

don't go to class if your just going to sleep, because they will know. your just wasting your money and the teachers time, get to bed or don't go and waste the teachers time. have you ever thought about the teacher, put yourself in their position. you have a class and your job, but not only your job but your passion and reason for doing anything is to teach others about the joys of learning and you prepare and prepare for class, you write out papers and have a planed lecture. you wake up and go to class, hoping to teach some eager minds only to find a student sleeping in your class, a direct insult to you and everything you have worked for.
please just stay awake or drop out and leave. if you can't do a basic thing like sit and even stay awake not that you even care but you don't even have to pay attention but just sit there awake, and since you don't care to pay attention or even stay awake, school is not for you, get out now.

I did it all the time. As a boy, I had long hair - some people called me cousin it. But I would always have my hair in my eyes awake or not, so that when I wanted to sleep no one was the wiser.
Put your head in your backpack and make it seem as if you're "digging" to get something. OR, just stay awake and actually get an education.
